TRIPS: From the Magic to the Imperial Perú

Day 1
La Paz Arrival to the city, reception in the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2

La Paz - After breakfast, 6 hours excursion to the archaelogical place of Tiwanaku, millenarian pre-inca ruins (1.500 b.c.), located in the middle of the Altiplano, where we will appreciate the admirable lithic esculptures, monuments, Suns’ Door, Kalasasaya temple and the local museum. Includes typical lunch and entry fees. . In the afternoon City tour visiting the most interesting places in La Paz, typical places like the Witches Market, artisanal markets, the colonial calle Jaén with its impressive, residential areas of the south and the well known Moon Valley, where erosion has given place to the most exotic and curious surface forms. Overnight. B
Day 3
La Paz – After breakfast transfer to the airport to fly to Rurrenabaque. (55 mins aprox). From the plane you will have a panoramic view of the beautiful "Cordillera Real" (Chains of mountains). You will cross the famous Snow Covered Mountain "Illimani" and the famous mountain "Huayna Potosí" and descend to Yungas until you reach the "Amazonía". Transfer to Jatatal hotel. Overnight. B
Day 4
San Buenaventura Tropical Breakfast. Trip to Parque Madidi, through the Beni River, visiting the "Angosto de Bala", and finally to "San Miguel" little town (1 hour walk aprox.). Lunch. In the evening we visita the "Parque Madidi". Dinner after return. Overnight. B,L,D
Day 5
San Buenaventura – La Paz Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Arrival to La Paz and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. B
Day 6
La Paz – Uyuni . Breakfast. Bus boarding for a 3 hours drive and arrival at Oruro, where we board the train towards Uyuni, arriving there after a 7 hours trip. Reception in the train station and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Uyuni. B
Day 7
Uyuni Breakfast and visit the Inca Huasi Island, also called Fish Island by its peculiar form. It has lots of caves and gigantic cactus about 8 to 10 meters spread over a lime like surface. After a snack return to Uyuni sighting salt the water ponds. We stop at Colchani where we will observe manual salt production and processing to iodine salt. Thereafter return drive to Uyuni railway station and off to Oruro. B, L
Day 8
La Paz. Arrival to Oruro, transfer to the Bus Terminal and heading to La Paz. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. B
Day 9
Breakfast. Titikaka Lake – Copacabana – Sun Island. We drive along a highway parallel to the Cordillera real (beautiful sight) towards to Copacabana, visit to the town, the beatiful church where is the Dark Madonna . Following we board our comfortable boat and head towards the Sun Island (1 hour ride). The Sun Island is worshipped as the birthplace of Manco Kápac and Mama Ocllo the first founders of the Inca’s Empire. Some ruins like the Pilkokaina Palace, the Eternal Youth Fountain, the 200 stairs of Yumani and most remarkable agricultural platforms are part of this beatiful Island, worth to see it.
After lunch follows a 3 ½ hour bus drive to Puno (Perú). Welcome at the bus terminal and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. B, L
Day 10
Puno – Cusco – After breakfast excursion to the Urus Floating Islands, part of the surprising totora islands archipelago. Transfer to the bus terminal and departure at 15:00 a.m. off to Cusco where we arrive after a 7 hours drive. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight. B
Day 11
Cusco Breakfast. In the afternoon City Tour visiting the Corikancha Sun’s Temple, the Main Square, the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman Inca Fort , El Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Overnight. B
Day 12
Cusco - Machupichchu.- Breakfast. Whole day excursion to Machupicchu. We start a 3 ½ hours train trip till the base of the archeological site. From there we board a bus driving to the very top of the place from where we will enjoy a magnificent view of Machupicchu´s ancient metropolis. Back to Cusco. Overnight. B
Day 13
Cusco – Inca`s Sacred Valley.- Breakfast. Whole day excursion to the Inca’s Sacred Valley, visiting Pisac picturesque colonial town, a handcraft exhibition at a native market. Also Calca, Urubamba, and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight in Cusco. B, L
Day 14
Cusco – Lima Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Reception in Lima and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon City tour. Visit the Historical Lima ‘s Downtown .In this place you’ll appreciate the amazing architecture of the traditional houses, streets and squares that made proud to “Colonial Lima”. After a little journey through “La plaza San Martin” and “La Plaza Mayor” you’ll go on to “San Francisco Monastery”, which has the mayor sample of colonial art in “America”. underground paths best known as the “Catacumbas”, considered as Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity. The journey continues in the traditional district of Rimac where you’ll appreciate the Hundred year old “Plaza de Toros de Acho”e), and the “Alameda de Los Descalzos”(Boulevard).In the return you’ll know the Contemporary Lima , the most residential and traditional places of Lima such as “El Olivar”, “Larco Mar” and privileged point to appreciate the amazing view to the Pacific Ocean. The journey ends in your hotel or in a handicraft maker’s center. B

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. B
